Overview on how a project is usually handled:
Should you be starting out and needing a site, you would need (for example) a .co.za address (eg. www.yourcompany.co.za).
If you already have a .co.za domain name, we can transfer this to us at no cost.
The site is then designed according to your unique requirements. Please contact us with your requirements. To get ideas of some of the
seriously nifty design things
we can offer you for your website, please click here. And of course, you would also need
some personalised e-mail addresses
for your company (eg. info@yourcompany.co.za etc.) Then upon completion, the site is ready to go live!
From only R800 (ex VAT) per year, we host your site, which includes the following services:
- Keeping your site hosted for a year (unlimited bandwidth to your site)
- Hosting of up to 5 POP3 e-mail addresses (50MB per email account)
- WebMail access to all email accounts
- Fax-to-email service set up on any email address
- Renewal of your .co.za domain name every year
- Submission of your site to over 300 search engines every year (note: no guarantees for acceptance / ranking)
There are no monthly fees!!
When you sign up with us, these are the usual project phases:
PHASE 1: Template design (which is sent to the client as a jpg image). This is the designer's depiction of the website and
proposal on how the site should look. The template design is based on the colours and look & feel of the logo and content which the
client provides. We can also source imagery for the client, which will be based on the type of business of the client. This phase
takes about 1.5 weeks to complete. After this, client can suggest changes to the template, which we then do, and send back in jpg
format to the client for review (please view our Terms & Conditions regarding changes to the template design).
PHASE 2: Website design phase will be based on approved template design. This phase takes about 1.5 weeks to complete.
This phase includes the design and population of all static pages, as well as all animation designs. At the end of this phase, we load
the website to our test server for the client's review. Changes can be suggested to us at this point
(please view our Terms & Conditions regarding changes to the website design at this point). If the site is a
straight-forward design without development functionality (ie. no shopping carts or admin functionality etc in the site),
then the project ends here. However, if there is additional functionality to be added to the site, it goes to phase 3.
PHASE 3: If you require additional functionality, like shopping carts or admin functionality, the design is sent to the developer
for this phase. This phase takes approximately 2 weeks, depending on the complexity of the functionality required for the site
and the developer's other commitments at the time.
GOING LIVE: We first load the complete, working site to our test server so that you can review the final product and test it all out,
before anything goes live. Only upon written approval, does a site go live, whereupon it is submitted to over 300 search engines like
Google, Ananzi and Yahoo. Please note that we do not guarantee any placement or ranking on any particular search engine. For more information
